“READ THE BOOK. FOLLOW THE GUIDE. PLAY THE GAME.”

The Infinity Ring series is a multi-platform series announced by Scholastic in January 2012. It focuses on history in an alternate timeline and is written by nine authors. Dak, Sera, and Riq, must go back in time with the Infinity Ring and fix the Great Breaks to prevent the Cataclysm. But they aren't the only ones looking to rewrite history; the SQ is out to stop them and have their Time Wardens all throughout the eras on the hunt for them.

The reader can continue the story after every book by aiding the three Hystorians through the Infinity Ring Game with a Hystorian's Guide.

On December 6, 2013, Admin Emily S. announced the upcoming series of short e-books filed under the subtitle: Secrets.[1] These shorts describe the momentary events that happened after the three kids had fixed history.

Official Descriptions[]

An alternate-history time travel adventure series that combines books, an interactive "Hystorian's Guide" map feature, and a fully-immersive online game experience.[2]

Infinity Ring is an alternate-history time travel adventure for readers ages 8-12, from the publisher of the international bestselling The 39 Clues™ series. Written by a team of six best-selling and acclaimed authors, this exciting new multi-platform series combines books, an interactive "Hystorian's Guide" map feature (named for a centuries-old secret society featured in the books), and a fully-immersive online game experience where readers travel back in time to fix history.[2]

History is broken, and a long-feared Cataclysm seems imminent. The capital of the United States is Boston. Lincoln's face is nowhere to be seen on Mount Rushmore. Everyone’s buzzing about the French royal wedding. And an international group of men and women known as the SQ is more powerful than kings, richer than nations, and more fearsome than armies. When best friends Dak Smyth and Sera Froste stumble upon the key to time travel – a hand-held device known as the Infinity Ring – they're swept up in a centuries-long secret war for the fate of mankind. Recruited by the Hystorians, a secret society that dates back to Aristotle, the kids learn that history has gone completely, and disastrously, off-course. Now it's up to Dak, Sera, and teenage Hystorian-intraining Riq to travel back in time to fix the "Great Breaks"... and to save Dak’s missing parents while they're at it. First stop: Spain, 1492, where a sailor named Christopher Columbus is about to be thrown overboard in a deadly mutiny![3]
